new format - problems with accessibility

edited 2 days ago
Hi, I just updated to the new zotero. I see that the new program uses a lot of color to make it look "modern". However, this has seriously affected my ability to use the program... For accessibility purposes, I need to switch back to the classic version so it is in black/white. Is there a way to do that?
  • Could you share a screenshot of what you are talking about?
  • @jules252525: Your OS should provide ways to control this system-wide, such as by making the screen grayscale. This isn't something individual apps should be expected to implement.

Just to be clear, though, Zotero 7 uses fewer colors than Zotero 6. It uses monochromatic line-based icons — many of them gray — and shape-based item type icons with no more than a few colors each. Zotero 6 used full-color graphical icons throughout the interface, background colors, and gradients. It was in no way "black and white".
