Upgrade StorageEasy way to complete authors' first names and journal title in reference items?

I have some old EndNote libraries that I imported into Zotero. Unfortunately, the old EndNote libraries only contain the authors' first name initials and only the abbreviated names of the journal titles, e.g. "J Biol Chem" instead of "Journal of Biological Chemistry".
Is there any easy/quick way (e.g. a plug-in) to complete these metadata?

adamsmithThe Linter for Zotero plugin does this -- I don't know how well the APIs do at scale, so I wouldn't run more than 100 items at a time through it.
