Notes functionality in Cite & Write might be buggy.

The lookup search function is not effective (it works for citations, so I would assume it's the same code?).

Even when I am (occasionaly) able to locate citation/note and I select the note it does not populate my document. I need to click on the button again and re-select.

Note functionality appears to work if I go into Classic View and select it.

Can you explain exactly what you're doing and what's happening? See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need. Some screenshots would be helpful.

This might be a user error. The documentation is scarce on this feature:

You search for notes based on note content, not metadata. That's why you're not seeing the items. It shows you the selected note in the library window or, if no note is selected, notes in reverse chronological order by date modified, so the idea is that you generally don't need to search at all.

An upcoming version will make some improvements here, but it's working as intended.

Thank you. I obviously had incorrect assumptions on the functionality.
