unable to click in red bar

I am using Google Docs and the Zotero desktop app with connector. When I try to add/edit citations from the Zotero link within my document a solid red bar appears and I am not able to click it to select citations.

    Restart Zotero. Try with a different browser.

    Any other suggestions? I have restarted both Zotero and Google docs several times. I also tried Chrome and the same red bar appears in the middle of the screen when I try to add/edit citations. I cannot click it to open to find references from my library.

    Make sure the document preferences or citation dialog isn't just appearing behind your other windows. That's the most likely thing here.

    If you're sure it's not that, we would want a Debug ID for reproducing this after restarting Zotero.
