Report ID 1006917025 - could not remove file

I have been getting syncing errors of this kind:

This points to an empty folder.

System info:
appName => Zotero, version => 7.0.23 (x64), os => Windows 11 26100, locale => en-GB, extensions => Better BibTex for Zotero (7.0.44, extension)

    Is this an institutional computer? Are you running any non-standard security software?

    Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync that triggers this?

    Institutional computer, though not with automatic set-up. Has been syncing fine until recently.

    I'm afraid you'll need to ask your IT department. Zotero isn't able to delete a folder within its own data directory.

    You can try manually deleting just C:\Users\[…]\Zotero\storage\CJVC655A, but there's a good chance you'll just get this error with another folder.
