Search terms not always highlighted in OCR-ed Japanese documents

As stated, search terms are often not highlighted in OCR-ed Japanese documents.

No consistency, no obvious reason why some documents are affected and others are not.

I have now installed the latest beta (8.0-beta.9+1469761f9) and the behavior is the same as far as I can tell.

In the example below, the highlight is successfully recorded, but invisible.
