Safari Connector Issue (doesn't add tags)

Hello,
when I add literature via Safari, I usually add tags. The problem: the literature syncs with Zotero (desktop) but the tags are not carried over.

Debug ID is D616930130

So far I tried:
- using a different browser (Chrome): it works, tags appear.
- using Zotero Connector on my Phone (Safari): it works, tags appear.
- deleted Zotero, restarted the Mac, reinstall Zotero: problem remains.
- started Zotero in troubleshooting mode: problem remains.

So, it seems there is an issue with my system? If so, is there a way to narrow down the problem further? I would like to continue using Safari on this Mac.

Appreciating any help.

    I tried again. Still not working.
    I also realized, it only adds the literature to the current sub-library that I have opened within the desktop client, despite of which one I choose.

    Thanks, just checking in: is this now a problem of my system or do I need to download a Zotero Beta version? I am just curious since the problem, I should have mentioned, just started to appear at some point during this year. It was working well before
