192368659 WebDav syncing suddenly stopped working

I've been having issues with syncing via WebDav over the last few day (issue ID is 192368659).

I'm running the WebDav server on my home NAS. My iPhone and iPad connect and sync properly (including uploading files). The issue is on my Mac: it can download but not upload files. In the sync settings in Zotero (latest 8.0 beta) the "Verify Server" option works. I also verified that I can connect and upload files from Finder to the WebDav server using the credentials I use for Zotero. Any ideas?

    Your WebDAV server returned an HTTP 0 error for a PUT request.

    If you receive this message repeatedly, check your WebDAV server settings or contact your WebDAV server administrator.
    Can you provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt that fails?

    As a test, I opened the Debug Output window, clicked the Verify Server option in the settings. And logs say that it had successfully created a file zotero-test-file.prop via an HTTP PUT request (with return code 201). But when a similar HTTP PUT request is made to sync an actual PDF to the server, it reports error.

    You'll need to check the server logs. All we can say is that the request is being blocked or interrupted.

    @iliyan: FWIW, this probably was due to different authentication handling in Zotero 8:

    (It wouldn't have happened with all WebDAV servers, which is why it would seem like it was the server's fault, but Zotero 8's behavior was different and non-optimal.)
