Zotero connector on Chrome not working

Hey - I am a long-time Zotero user and have always used the Chrome extension to import manuscript metadata and PDFs directly into the Zotero application on my Mac. I love it! Lately I've been encountering issues with doing so - the error message I've been getting is 'An error occured while saving this item.' I tried clearing cookies and exiting out of the desktop app. Can you help?

    Please provide an example URL for a failed import.

    OK. Perhaps all those removing/reinstall, disabling other extensions; Pinning button back to task bar (it kept disappearing), etc., worked. 30 minutes later it works.
