I’ve been a happy Zotero user for years, and I really appreciate the addition of a native dark mode. Previously, I relied on the zotero-night plugin, which worked well for comfortable reading.
In the current native dark mode, the background is pure black and images appear inverted, which makes longer reading sessions difficult. A slightly softer dark background (e.g., dark blue) and leaving images in their original colors would greatly improve readability and user comfort.
Is there a plan to change this?

View → Use Dark Mode for Content. This will also disable inverted colours for images. Yes, the current beta supports customisable themes.
