Available for beta testing: Zotero for Linux on ARM64
The Zotero 8 beta adds a version for Linux running on ARM64 devices. This includes ARM-based Chromebooks and Apple Silicon Macs (Linux VMs, Asahi Linux).
If you've been unable to run Zotero on your ARM-based device, or you've been running the x86_64 version under emulation, give it a try.

gaoyu19920914Cool! I'm using an ARM arch Linux desktop computer, and successfully installed this beta version.
-
andersculturalstudiesCool, if anyone gets it running on a Pinenote please post.
-
m_kurzOn Arch Linux you can just install the zotero-beta-bin AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/zotero-beta-bin (e.g. with yay: `yay -S zotero-beta-bin`). Even works on Asahi ALARM (https://asahi-alarm.org/)

Andrew.Edelmann@andersculturalstudies: did you figure out if it works with the pinenote? I'm here for the same reason.

andersculturalstudiesI am running this version on a Pinenote with Debian Trixie now. So far, everything is good except that I did not managed to run the set_launcher_icons scrips properly it seems. Zotero does not appear among apps in Gnome settings or in the activity bar. Would it be possible to install the arm64 version from flatpak?
-
andersculturalstudiesI instead launch it from the terminal.
