Upgrade StoragePage Number Missing with Entries Created by Attachment

Using Mac OSX 15.5 Zotero Version 7.0.22
Several Journal Article entries created with uploaded attachment pdfs correctly pull most meta data and populate the DOI field in Zotero. However, the page number does not populate even after syncing with the correct DOI field populated. Even though the DOI is known, the page number is not updated. This is reproducible with articles from the American Physical Society and Springer.
If I add the article by identifier (File->Add by Identifier), the page number is populated correctly.

Basically, there are two different services we can use to retrieve metadata for a DOI registered with Crossref, and the one we were using for most of last month failed to populate the Pages field if there was only an "article number". We'll fix that, but a week ago we already switched back to the method we were using previously that has saved these properly for years.
Just with previously added items. Is there a way to get previously added items to sync page number correctly?
