Upgrade StorageZotero 7 - Word crashes when new citation added
Hi all,
I am using Zotero 7.0.22 on my Mac (Sonoma 14.5) and when I try to add a new citation in Microsoft Word, Word crashes without any error message. This happens for both new blank documents and documents with words.
I have read the Word Processor Integration doc and have tried
1) restarting Word and Zotero
2) deleting and re-installing the Zotero Word plugin
3) copy and pasting the Zotero.dotm into the Word startup folder (which initially did not contain the Zotero.dotm file)
4) changing the Word Startup location from default to the Startup folder path, and then changing it back to the default blank
And still Word continues to crash. I saw in previous discussions that Crowdstrike was an issue for Zotero 6. I do have Crowdstrike installed on my computer - is it still an issue for Zotero 7?

adomasvenIs the version of Word that you are running up to date? What version is it? Crowdstrike or other proprietary security software could certainly cause it, so you should test with it disabled.
