Free storage plan issue

Hello, I am currently using the free storage plan through my university. I am getting an error when attempting to sync and save new files that states I have reached my file storage quota. However, when I go to my account on the browser, it says I have a 300 MB quota and I am at 77.1 MB. Am I missing something? I'm not sure why it says I've only used 25.7% of my free storage but the desktop app is not allowing me to save anything. Does this have something to do with syncing across devices? I have attached a screenshot of the error.

  • You're likely syncing with a different account. You can check the account you're syncing from from the Sync pane of the Zotero settings. If you can't figure it out, provide a Debug ID for reproducing this.

Note that the account you're posting from doesn't have any institutional email address associated with it, which is why you only have 300 MB on this account.
  • I was able to change the verified email address on my account to my institutional address and the storage updated. Additionally, the file storage quota notification went away, and I'm not having any issues saving files so far. Thank you for your assistance.
