Upgrade StorageUpdate beyond 7.0.15 breaks WPS-Zotero integration

I'm using native version of WPS Office on Arch-based CachyOS as my main document writer. I've been using tankwyn's addon to integrate Zotero with WPS Office (https://github.com/tankwyn/WPS-Zotero).
After updating Zotero to version newer than 7.0.15, when I tried to cite in WPS, a "WPS-Zotero: Client error 400" shows up. The only solution for now is downgrading Zotero to 7.0.15. I wonder what changed in Zotero that made the client error.
