Upgrade StorageCtrl+Click citation hyperlinks fail to jump to References despite troubleshooting
I'm experiencing persistent hyperlink failure in Microsoft Word with Zotero citations and need urgent help. When I insert citations using the Zotero (v7.0.21), the in-text references appear normally, but Ctrl+Click does NOT jump to the References section (no response). The References header is properly formatted as Heading 1 and F9 refresh/alt-F9 field checks show no obvious errors.
I tried creating a completely new blank docx file for testing, but the issue persists.
Pressing Alt+F9 to inspect the field codes revealed that the bibliography section only generated this line: { ADDIN ZOTERO_BIBL {"uncited":[],"omitted":[],"custom":[]} }

How to fix it？

How to fix it？
You can find Word macros in these forums that will post-process the citations and turn them into hyperlinks to the references. There will likely be a built-in way to do this in the future.
