Zotero 7 using AList/OpenList WebDav reports HTTP 0 error

My OpenWRT router runs Openlist (an Alist alternative) to mount cloud storage and offer WebDAV services to the local network. Zotero 7 keeps reporting HTTP 0, which indicates a blocked or failed connection.

But I've check the firewall rules on both PC and OpenWRT, everything is fine. It is so confused that Firefox, windows explorer and other disk manager all works properly. And there is only a part of files upload to Openlist successfully. This may be a compatibility issue I guess?
  • Problem solved!!
For some unknown reason, Zotero 7 limits and blocks unsecure WebDAV HTTP connections after certain updates. Currently I found no about:config settings to turn this off.
So the solution is to use an ssl certifications to upgrade your HTTP connection to HTTPS connection.

Just to be clear, it doesn't do this. There's the issue with blocked ports, but there's no general problem with HTTP connections.
