"My Library has already been auto-reset" Report ID: 1778928733

On trying to sync my Zotero library after three years, I get the error message: "My Library has already been auto-reset". The sync stops and the system asks me to send an error report. I have send the report. What to do next?
  • Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync that triggers the error?

  • There's likely some sort of bug here, but it looks like you may have generated a lot of conflicts on different computers between syncs, possibly with a plugin (e.g., if you used a plugin to batch-relate items), and that's causing some trouble.

    Is all your data correct on one computer? If so, you could just use Replace Online Library from the Sync → Reset pane of the Zotero settings.
