When I open the Zotero app, it appears to be stuck in sync mode.

I've tried leaving it open (during the day and overnight) in case a large file needed time to sync, but this does not appear to be the case.

I've also tried reinstalling the app.

In the debug section, I'm getting "invalid progress for request."

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
  • Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for Zotero startup through a few minutes of syncing, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

    But you canceled that sync, right? It's uploading a 118 MB file. Depending on your upload speed, that might take a little while.

    Can you provide a Debug ID for waiting longer? 30 minutes or so?

  • I received a sync error message this afternoon: Report ID 2123499157. I will try syncing again.
  • I tried restarting Zotero and my computer, and I am still receiving a sync error. Report ID: 323302944.

    What's your internet upload speed?

    These are large files (>80 MB), and the uploads are taking a very long time and ultimately timing out.
  • I brought my laptop to work and was able to sync successfully. Thanks again for your assistance!
