Why not display fileds according to publishing date and added date?

Always we want to see the latest information, which can be realized by sorting according to the date filed. I can not find the function. Does anyone know how and if no, may the developers can solve the problems.

    What Dan has pointed out will sort your items, but not the notes within your items. If that's what you are trying to do, you need to generate a report and sort the report by date.

    When you create the report, there will be a url like this in your browser:

    zotero://report/items/8077-15035-1713-4917/html/report.html

    If you add ?sort=date to the end of this address, so that it looks like below, your report will be sorted by date.

    zotero://report/items/8077-15035-1713-4917/html/report.html?sort=date
