Issue with Repeated citations show full title + "...cit." instead of op. cit.

Hi everyone,

I'm using the "University of Bologna" citation style in Zotero and running into an issue with repeated citations. Instead of showing op. cit. after the author's name (as expected in many styles), Zotero is rendering the full title followed by ...cit.—e.g.:
[EX]
Antony Beevor, The Second World War, New York, Little, Brown and Co, 2012.
other references
A. Beevor, The Second World Warcit. instead of Beevor, op.cit

Thanks in advance!
  • The style is configured to add the "Short title" in case it needs to disambiguate.
I am assuming you're citing another item by "Beevor"?
  • it would be the same item "The Second World War" by Anthony Beevor
  • Does it work fine in an empty document? If so, it's something about your actual document.
Do you have a bibliography? If not, add one and see ifhthe Beevor book shows up twice.
  • It does work in an empty document, and I do not have that document duplicated. I might have another version of it in the "Bin," but I suppose that doesn't change.
  • If you have it in the bin, take it out from there and merge the two items. Then refresh the citations in your document.
