Items and tagging

Hello

I collect sources in the library or a collection.
How can I tag several entries at the same time?

When I select several items with CTRL, I cannot click on any tags (toolbar on the right).

The manual does not clarify the issue

    From that section:
    You can also drag items to a tag in the tag selector in the bottom left to quickly add the tag to all of those items.
    (You can't currently add a new tag to multiple items. It has to exist on at least one item first so that it shows up in the tag selector.)

    I received no notation that I received an answer to my question. Hence my late response.
    I cannot select multiple items in a collection. At least I don't know how. Therefore, it does not matter how I tag them.

    Assuming I have added 9 matching websites to a topic, I then have to tag them individually. There
    will be a better solution, won't there?

    I'm not sure what you mean by this. You already said how to select multiple items above — the same way you select multiple items in any program on your computer. You were just looking in the wrong place to do the actual tagging.

    Since there is no possibility to upload a graphic, I can only describe it.
    I go into a collection. I can select different elements with CTRL. When I have done this, the toolbar on the right is no longer clickable. Clicking with the right mouse button also offers no option.

    We can also look at it from your point of view. Suppose you create a new collection. Suppose you add several websites to this collection. You want to tag three of these websites because all of them deal with a subtopic. Would you click on each of these websites individually and then click on the tag icon on the right-hand side? I hope not! :-)

    You can add screenshots to your post, but I understood your question the first time. I quoted exactly how to do it above.

    (just to re-iterate the key point: bulk tagging happens in the tag selector on the bottom left, not the tag section on the right, which is for individual items)
