Feature request: add option to copy in text citation from Zotero Connector plugin
I often find that while I am writing I find a relevant article, use the Zotero Connector to add it to my collection and then immediately want to cite it. Right now I need to change windows, find the recently added article, right-click, create bibliography and copy to clip board. It would be really great if there was an option in the Connector to copy the in-text citation.
I know the more proper method would be to use a Zotero plugin in the word processor to add the citation after adding it to the collection. For reasons... I typically write in Google Docs and then switch to MS Word for final formatting which breaks all the citations so I find it easier to just link them all in Word after the fact. I think having an option to copy the citation from the connector would be a nice addition that would be helpful across text applications where you might want the citation.
This is somewhat related to this post (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/75181/feature-request-copy-directly-the-citation-from-the-chrome-extension). Maybe a way to toggle between in-text and bibliography entry would be helpful to cover both cases?

As for citing in Google Docs and Word, you can move your document along with active citations between different word processors. See Moving Documents with Zotero Citations Between Word Processors
(If you really didn't want to use the word processor plugins, you could switch to Zotero and use Quick Copy, as Adomas says.)
