Tags missing online after sync

Good afternoon,

Can anyone advise why the tags don't fully sync online?

I have attached images of the desktop tags to compare them to the online tags and tag manager view.

Are you in the same view on both, Zotero and the web library? The tag selector (bottom left) only shows tags that are present on items in the current view—for example, if you’re in a specific collection, you’ll only see tags present on items in that collection. Coloured tags are always shown, but they may appear greyed-out if not present in the current view.

It’s also worth checking whether the "Show Automatic" option differs between Zotero and the web library. This option is available from the menu next to the filter input.

Thanks for your response. I think I got to the source of the problem. It doesn’t show the tags that were attributed to notes on the web version. So, I will need to go back through and assign them at article level. I tried some JavaScript to automate it, unsuccessfully, so a manual task on my list of things to do.
