Import Issues

Good morning everyone,

I wanted to reinstall Zotero so I exported my library. After the reinstall of Zotero 7, I tried to import that export for. It sat there for over an hour not ever finishing. Is there a trick to get a backup to import?

    1) An export isn't a backup. A backup is just a copy of the Zotero data directory.

    2) A reinstall doesn't affect your data in the first place. Unless you actually went out of your way to delete your data, it would still be there.

    3) Reinstalling the app is almost never necessary. What were you trying to accomplish?
