Feature request: Click based turning of pages on Android

I often struggle with turning pages in Zotero on Android (Boox). Is the only way to turn pages on android to swipe? It often ends up moving the pdf if I have zoomed in on the text and takes multiple tries. Could you implement some version of clicking on the side of the page or next/previous page buttons like in the web library?

    You can already tap along the side of pages to turn the page.

    I tested this a bit now and it does not seem to work when I have zoomed in on the pdf. Some pdfs have very large margins and I often zoom on my boox (10inch). But when I zoom I’m not able to change the page by taping. It would be really great if it was possible to turn the page by taping when zoomed and keeping the zoom level.
