Upgrade StorageAdding citations slows Word on Mac
Hi,
I've been using Zotero for years and working on a large document with many citations. Recently, when I add a citation through the Word plug-in, I get the spinning rainbow wheel almost continuously and can't even type anything without a pause. It persists if I delete the reference, but will resolve if I use the undo function in Word. But using the see all drop-down in the undo function, I have pages and pages of macro gibberish (see image).

Sometimes I can add a citation and this doesn't happen (no rainbow wheel) and looking at the undo menu, I see about 10 lines of macro talk (not pages). This is killing my productivity and I'm hoping for some help, please.
Everything is updated and Zotero reports no errors (report ID 337337680):
No errors have been logged since Zotero started.

But Mac Word integration is unfortunately just very slow. We've written a much faster plugin and are working with Microsoft on some Word improvements in order to be able to roll it out.
This has happened a few times in the past. If I cut and paste everything into a fresh Word document and continue with Zotero, it sometimes works.
I checked for errors again and have a bunch of Javascript errors (report ID 419811672). Thank you for the help and please let me know if you need any more info!
