Thumbnail Image of Item

It would greatly improve my work if there were to have a thumbnail image of the piece of artwork or the book cover in its own column alongside the title, author, etc. in the main view of Zotero. I think that art historians, artists, and those with a more visual memory would also find this useful. Has it been tried? Can/could it be done? Would you like to see this too?

    I know this is not really answering your question, but I’ve developed an android app (ZotShelf) that shows the covers of your epub books in Zotero. It’s only in closed beta now, but if you’re interested I’m looking for testers of the beta version. I’ve also been trying to recreate the app as a plugin in Zotero without much luck so far.
