Zotero does not store file as child of parent item when importing PDF
Hi,
I haven't used Zotero in a while and I'm not sure if this is the newly expected behavior or a bug.
When I'm importing a local PDF into my library, Zotero does create a parent item but leaves the PDF as a standalone file rather than moving it to be a child of the parent item (see screenshot).
This seems not to happen every time but to happen randomly.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong here?
Thanks,
Theo

How are you adding the file?
Sorry, I thought that the post had not been correctly created, so I wrote another one (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/124438/zotero-retrieves-blank-metadata).
I think the problem is the one described in the other post, the parent/child was created by ZotMoov which I deactivated in the other post.
