MacOS crashing - Safari / Sonoma

Hi, my Safari Zotero extension was flickering so I downloaded the last version and since then my laptop has crashed a few times. I had to uninstall Zotero as even just using Safari made my laptop crash. Please help :|
  • I did all that, and that's why I posted this.

"If you continue to experience this, let us know in the Zotero Forums."
  • If you delete Zotero from Applications, restart your computer, reinstall Zotero, and start it up, what exactly happens?
  • My laptop became unstable. I couldn't use Safari at all because it required increasingly more GB of memory and would prompt me to Force Quit. In fact, it crashed twice, so my laptop started it up twice after installation. I had to delete Zotero in order to use Safari again normally
  • I'm asking you to try it again. It's very unlikely that this would happen with a new install after following the above steps. The Zotero Connector shouldn't even be loaded unless you enable it in the Extensions pane in Safari.

Also, what exact macOS version? You should make sure you're running the latest version — ideally the latest version of Sequoia, but at least the last version of Sonoma. There's no general problem with the Safari extension from a new install of the Zotero app, so any instability here would be a macOS bug.
