Right-click bug on items only / ZoteroPreview Plugin

Hi everyone,
The right-click mouse doesn't work anymore on any of my items in Z.

Righ-click feature works normally everywhere else (collections, info panel...), in other apps or on my desktop. The only place affected is my library items (either references, notes, or attached / linked PDF).

Report ID gave a clue : a javascript problem with the extension ZoteroPreview. Deactivating ZoteroPreview and restart Zotero solved the problem.

    Plugin bugs need to be addressed by the plugin developer.

    Note that Zotero 7 has a native feature to show a bibliography entry at the top of the item pane, so you might find that you don't need this plugin anymore.

    Hi Dan, thanks a lot for all the information. I was not aware Z7 has a native feature to show the bibliography. In my case, problem solved !

    The developer of the Preview plugin has released an update that disables its functionality, since it's now built in to Zotero 7. That will fix this bug. You can also uninstall the plugin from Tools → Plugins.

    Unfortunately, the exact functionality - seeing a preview of the complete citation in the Item pane and being able to copy it with one click - is not built in to Zotero 7. For someone who uses Zotero daily, this is a major loss in functionality.

    @rbsalisbury: From the Zotero 7 announcement:
    At the top of the item pane, a new customizable header lets you choose what info to show: title, title/author/date, or even a bibliography entry in your chosen citation style.
    And you can copy it with right-click → Copy.

    @dstillman: Yes. And it is somewhat customizable. To be clear, the plugin version showed the title, and then a citation (author, date) with a copy option - one click, not right-click then copy. Annd it also also showed a full bibliographic entry with a copy option, one click. I didn't have to choose which one to see, because they were all there. So, the exact functionality is not built in. And for some of us, that is disappointing.

    If your primary concern is copying, note that you can always copy citations and bibliography entries for the selected items with a keyboard shortcut or drag using Quick Copy.

    I also used the Preview plugin all the time and it was very convenient.

    How can I find/enable the item header mentioned above? I looked around and searched for "item pane header" in the docs but failed to find it or a description of it.
