Zotero Apple Pencil Squeeze Function Not Working

I'm running an iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) running iPadOS 18.4.1 with Zotero version 1.0.50 Build 333. The squeeze function does not appear to work. Prior to the 2nd merge request the squeeze function appears to almost work (you could see it try to swap between tools, for example, but it didn't quite work. Now the squeeze function does nothing.

    Hey @mcdonaldmichael, we are looking into this. Can you please let us know what you have selected as the preferred squeeze action?
    You can find this setting in Settings > Apple Pencil > Actions > Squeeze

    Hi @mvasilak!

    I currently have the "squeeze" action set to "Show Color Palette" and the double tap action set to "Switch Between Current Tool and Last Used".

    Just checking in to see if there is any additional testing I can do in relation to this issue or not. Looks like your commit in issue #1106 (https://github.com/zotero/zotero-ios/pull/1106) altered the behavior for the pencil, but it does not appear to be working.

    I just thought I’d add a note to say that I am using the same Zotero build and using the same model iPad as far as I can tell, I have a new iPad Pro M4 11 inch. For me, I saw the previous build had the same issue with the squeeze function on the Apple Pencil Pro flicking to one of the tools and back again very quickly. In the newest build it’s correctly bringing up the colour palette for each tool for me. In eraser mode, it gives the brush size slider.
