I am unable to save webpages on Zotero. The Zotero icon used to be next to my "Extensions" and when I selected it, it would save a snapshot of the webpage I was using (on chrome). Now if I search for the Zotero Connector in Extensions, it tells me "Zotero stopped working"
What's what you see? I don't know what you're saying here. If you want our help, please take the time to say more about the exact problem you're experiencing — what you're doing, what you expect to happen, and what's happening instead. See steps to reproduce for the kind of description we need.
Again, there's no particular problem in your screenshot — it shows Zotero successfully saving to the online library.
Again, if you're getting some error, you'll need to share a screenshot. Your screenshot shows a successful save to the online library. I have no idea what "Zotero stopped working" is referring to.
No, you're confused here. That's the title of this thread — those are words that you wrote. All your screenshot shows is you saving this forums page to the online library. If you save another page it will show some other page title.
(But it also would be helpful if you acknowledged that you understand that "zotero stopped working" is just the title you gave this thread and the screenshot shows you successfully saving this forums page to your online library. It will only do that if you give it explicit permission to do so when it tells you it can't communicate with the Zotero app.)
You created a forum thread here and called it "zotero stopped working". You then clicked the save button on this page, so Zotero is saving this page, which has that title. That's what you're seeing in the screenshot. Again, you can go to literally any other webpage and click save and it won't say that.
When Zotero saves a page (in your case to the Web Libray directly, because you refuse to start the Zotero app on your computer), it writes the name of the title of the webpage under "Saving to zotero.org".
If you don't believe this, go to the top of the thread and edit the title to "zotero started working" (by clicking on the gear icon next to star and choosing "edit"). Now if you save from this page, it will say "zotero started working". That means it is saving the page to your Zotero web library.

If you're trying to save to the Zotero app, make sure that it's running, restart your browser, and see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connector_zotero_unavailable if you get a warning that Zotero isn't running.
Again, there's no particular problem in your screenshot — it shows Zotero successfully saving to the online library.

Also, before when I was using it I was able to save to specific files, not just generally to my library. That function seems to have diappeared too.

If so, follow the steps on https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connector_zotero_unavailable and tell us exactly what you tried and what happened at each step.
