Fewer Files on WebDAV After Syncing

Hi everyone,

I recently cleared my Zotero storage and changed my settings so that:
My personal library uses WebDAV (KFOOR) for file syncing,
I disabled file syncing through Zotero for My Library,
Group libraries still sync through Zotero Storage.

The sync completed without any errors, but I noticed that the number of files in my WebDAV folder is much lower than the number of items in my library. I’m just wondering if that’s expected, or if maybe something didn’t sync properly.

Has anyone else run into this? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

To be clear, you'd only have folders on WebDAV for actual file attachments, not items.

Beyond that, see Files Not Syncing.

Well, what do you mean by this? You don't disable file syncing for My Library if you want to sync files in My Library. You set it to use WebDAV instead.

    Thanks for the replies!

Actually, the issue was related to the Zotmoov plugin. I had set it up to move attachments to directories based on collection names, which caused the files to be moved outside Zotero’s default storage path. Once I undid the movement and restored the files to the correct path, the WebDAV syncing worked properly.

So, the problem wasn’t with WebDAV itself, but rather the movement of files that Zotmoov caused.
