Synchronization error

Hi Zotero community, I have following error message on my iPad. This seems to be quite a mess in the library. I don’t know what to do…
And I don’t know how this can happen. I use the Zotero storage and currently pay for the 6 GB storage volume.

Attached you see the image of the sync error.

Is the forum the right contact for such issues?

    Can you provide a Debug ID for a reproducing this (by pulling down on the items list to trigger a sync)?

  • Could you explain your workflow for adding the files that aren't syncing?

    In a bunch of cases, it looks like you have an attachment that was added to your library and added to a collection, and then a few seconds later a parent item was created. The parent items have uploaded successfully, but due to some bug the attachment items aren't being uploaded.

    Do you recall the exact steps you took that led to this? We haven't yet been able to reproduce it.
  • I always add files mainly pdf to my library a the iPad. I use the plus button and the select Add File. When the file is in Zotero, I long press on the file and add a parent item. I use the parent item for additional information.
    I just looked on the iPhone and I can see the latest parent item but no files. So why are the files not synced?
  • So on my iPad, I have four parent items with attachments. On my iPhone and the web library, I don’t see these attachments. I guess this is the error. So how can I get the attachment to be synchronized

  • Hi @mvasilak, sorry I was a few days off. Thank you for your reply. I currently do not use and have the beta version.
    The sync error disappeared also in the normal version.

    Could you please shortly explain the bug fix and what you have implemented into the software?
