    I'm not sure what you're saying there? Oh, "http" vs. "https". OK, we'll look.

    I am trying to filter all arXiv records where URL protocol is HTTP.
    But the search returns both HTTP and HTTPS

    What quick search mode are you using?

    What advanced search condition?

    Quick mode - All fields
    Advanced search - prefix on URL

    Make sure you're not confusing gray context rows and actual search matches.

    If you don't think you are, can you provide a screenshot that shows the item row and item pane for a match in All Fields & Tags, as well as a Debug ID for the search?

    Ok, I figured. I have fixed the URL field to "https", but the attachment pdf still has "http", which is why I was still getting that record

    Right, but to be clear, you weren't actually getting the parent item — you were getting the child item. The parent item is gray, which mean it's not actually a match.
