"There was an error starting Zotero..." crash on program start-up

I'm getting the following pop-up when I start. It looks like a read/write error having to do with the SD card my library is saved on (D:\).

Please advise.

"There was an error starting Zotero.

  • Problem solved.

It was an SD card issue. It must have had unfinished IO operations interrupted somehow. I used the windows auto-repair feature and Zotero opened properly after that.

Sorry, nothing else to see here.
These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along, move along.
