Erroneous duplicate items
I am getting some erroneous duplicate items in two cases:
1. Books with the same title and authors but different volume numbers. This is a very common/natural situation, and they should definitely not be considered duplicates of each other.
2. Journal articles with the same details apart from page numbers. This occurs in very old journal issues (19th C in my case) when an article is "continued" at a much later point in the issue, and really forms a standalone section.

The developers have acknowledged the need to mark items that are actually different as non-duplicates, and it is planned to add that feature at some point in the future.
In summary: for the time being, just ignore these suggestions, they're harmless.
I definitely thing it should be able to incorporate other fields (at least optionally), but a "mark as non-duplicates" feature does indeed sound like the most important thing.
