iOS App: too difficult to change between small pencil sizes

edited 14 days ago
Hello everyone,

first of all thank you for creating such a nice open-source software which I love.

Recently, I got the iOS App (because I basically bought an iPad mainly for Zotero) and I have been using the annotations often. Specifically, I often draw something on the side. This usually needs to be rather small since I am annotating in the margins next to some text. So depending on how much I want to write, I am almost always using drawing sizes between 0.2 and 0.8 which is very much on the bottom end of possible sizes (To be honest, I don't understand what people would use the larger sizes even as they are so large). What I find very hard, is to accurately switch from say 0.3 to 0.6 or the other way round which I to do regularly. This is due to the high sensitivity and it is very hard to get the size I actually want. This is similar to the desktop version though there I find it a little easier to set with the mouse (but still hard and doesn't matter to much since I almost never use my computer for drawing annotations).

So, my hope is that there could be a different way to change between these smaller sizes. Maybe add + and - buttons which change the sizes in small steps (e.g. 0.1 or small relative to the current size) or make it somehow less sensitive or add some custom presets for quick changing between regular sizes. I am relatively agnostic regarding how to change this specifically but I hope there will be some change.

Thank you!
