Sync not working - Request timed out after 30000 ms

I am trying to set up the synchronization of my Zotero and I always get: Request timed out after 30000 ms. I assume it happens due to some proxy settings (I'm working in a hospital). I found this article (https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connection_error) but I do not understand what I am supposed to do and would highly appreciate any help. Thank you in advance!

Can you submit a Report ID or are all network connections failing?

I tried it now several times, but I just get a window saying I should wait while the report is sent... and then nothing happens anymore.

Then you'll need to see Connection Error and ask your IT department for help if necessary.
