Using iPad without internet (local copy of all pdfs for offline work possible)?

Dear All,
Is it possible to have a local copy of all pdfs on the iPad, so that I could read and comment on papers while on the go without internet? Like it is possible on a computer?

It seems it downloads only the pdf I'm opening, but is there a setting to keep all files local? (as, for example, OneDrive has the option for files).

Best wishes,
Andre
  • Hi Andre,

    it's possible.

By default the app downloads only what you open, but you can long press on "All Items" in the library which you want to download and then press "Download Attachments" and it will start downloading all attachments in given library.

The app won't delete them unless you do that manually, so you can keep reading and annotating all PDFs while offline.

Just don't forget to sync from time to time so that you're backed up.
