Website snapshots in simplified reader view
Is it possible to save a website snapshot in the simplified reader view (in Firefox)? When I switch to the reader view, the Zotero icon is greyed out and the context menu isn't there.
Unfortunately the snapshot from the normal view still saves too many adverts, popups that hide parts of the text and other rubbish that now litter most websites.

@tim820 Thanks for mansplaining this to me, I understand and use ad-blockers. If you actually look at journal publishers' websites, you'll see a lot of stuff that ad blockers don't filter because it comes from the publishers' themselves, like ads for their other books or journals or popups to subscribe to newsletters.
Many websites are just very cluttered, that is the reason why browsers have a reader view.

The first one looks like this in Zotero:

A lot of space is wasted with the subscribe popup at the bottom and the links. Compare this to the much cleaner reader views in Firefox:

In the second example, there is a popup (with the author information) that actually hides the text and can't be removed in Zotero:
