yes, I've run zotero 7.07.

7.0.7 is a version from last October. Why do you think that's the latest version?
How did you install Zotero?
What happens when you go to Help → "Check for Updates…"?

But you should have been receiving automatic updates for the last 6 months. Did you disable them? Or is there a
general problem with network connections
in your Zotero?
