Advanced search does not allow restriction to collection

Advanced search is actually limited relative to the quick search in at least one respect: it is not possible to search only a certain collection.

When using quick search, only items in the current collection are searched. But advanced search does not allow for such a limited search. It would be nice if "Search in Library" would be replaced by "Search in" and that at least "Current collection" would be an option there which would make it a proper advancement of quick search.

    Except if I am missing something, "Collection" (click on "Title") is what you are looking for.

    Sorry for the delay. No, that is a misunderstanding. I actually meant "collection" in a different sense. I did not meant the collection as an item but the collection as a "folder" in Zotero (they are also called collections or subcollections which might be a bit confusing).

    I thought that I did. But now that I try it again, it seems to be working. Maybe I might have clicked on the wrong entry.

    Apart from it being a bit unexpected for me to find it at that place. It seems to work fine.
