We can consider reducing this limit, but could you provide more details about when exactly it becomes necessary? Perhaps even include a screenshot.

Second that, would be interested to reduce the limit to say 8, or even 6 (why not?).

I use annotations on the margins, so can fit more text if font size is smaller.

I could reduce the size of the text box postfactum, but then the text size is not uniform, and won't fill the whole margin once decreased, so just having smaller font would be much more convenient

A strong +1 from here. Right now even the smallest font size (10) somehow is bigger as the paper's font...

Also we handling is a bit fiddling... I mean, that the box grows to the right instead of to the bottom if you write to much. When doing comments on the margin this is not helpful.

And, I would like to set a default font size, so I don't have to adjust it every single time...
