Page numbers not displayed for some references

I am writing a manuscript using the citation style of the Journal of Environmental Psychology. For some references, the page numbers are not displayed in the bibliography, although there are stored in the articel information in Zotero in the field "pages" correctly. What could be the reason and how to change this?
Thank you for your help!
  • Do you have something in "Extra" for those items? A line starting with "Number:" in particular?
  • e.g. in the following reference: Beil, K., & Hanes, D. (2013). The Influence of Urban Natural and Built Environments on Physiological and Psychological Measures of Stress—A Pilot Study. International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, 10(4), Article 4. https://doi.org/10.3390/ijerph10041250 the issue is displayed twice, once after the volume as wanted, but another time as "article 4". This should be removed and instead the page numbers should be displayed, which are stored in zotero under the reference, but somehow not displayed.
  • A journal article like this, with APA, will certainly work.
Make sure the metadata is actually entered correctly. You're always responsible for making sure the metadata is imported correctly. Zotero and the citation style can only do their work if that's correct.
I'd assume you have "Article 4" in the pages field instead of the actual pages.

  • As I say above, it's "Number: 4" that's incorrectly stored in the Extra field (that gets picked up as an article number by APA). It likely gets from some metadata that exports the issue as 'number'.
