The directions for deleting folders is not working for me

I have old folders that I cannot delete. Command/delete doesn't work. Nothing works. Any thoughts?

    Are you using the Zotero desktop app or the website? If the former, can you provide a Report ID?

    Note that you only need to press Delete to delete a collection. Cmd-Delete will delete the collection and all contained items.

    Thank you. This is working for me in my library now. I upgraded to the latest version. I was way behind. Is there a way to get automatic updates?

    Still, it is not working in shared folders. Is there a different method fo delete shared folders?

    Oh, and I am using the desktop and website.

    Thanks ~ can you comment on how to delete shared folders? These are old folders on my desktop. they are not even showing up on the web version.

    What options do you see on right-click on those collections?

    well, it worked for one of them. for the others i don't have that option - I have the option of 'new collection, 'sync' , 'new saved search' or 'export library'

    You're clicking on a library, not a collection. You can delete or leave a group library from the group settings online.
