Hello,



I am getting the following error message when trying to save from Zotero
from the website: https://usearch.uaccess.univie.ac.at/primo-explore/fulldisplay?docid=UWI_alma21254795060003332&context=L&vid=UWI&lang=de_DE&search_scope=UWI_UBBestand&adaptor=Local Search Engine&tab=default_tab&query=lsr02,exact,AC00075232

"Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten beim Speichern mit Primo 2018. Es wird versucht stattdessen Embedded Metadata zu nutzen."

This happens with all entries on the usearch page of University of Vienna.

I tried following the Troubleshoot (https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues) but that didnt help.

    I get the same message from usearch.
    Did you solve the problem?

    We'd want a debug ID (don't just post the output -- the above is missing the relevant parts) that covers a failed attempt to say more.
    FWIW, saving using usearch works for me when I'm not authenticated to Vienna University (obviously), so I'm guessing the authentication messes something up, but hard to say.

    You are right! Without authentication the zotero connector works. (I hadn’t realised before.)

    When I ‘m logged in at search.univie.ac.at and try to add a book reference with the Zotero connector symbol an error occurs:
    “Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten beim Speichern mit Primo 2018. Es wird versucht stattdessen Embedded Metadata zu nutzen.”


    I’m not sure if my incident report is still helpful, because when I read the page on reporting_problems it told me to go to the Zotero Preferences of zotero connector.

    Next time I tried to reproduce the error, the zotero connector worked just fine!


    I’ll watch out if the error occurs again.

    We need a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading the page and trying to save, not from Zotero.
