Zotero doesn't Cite anything except author

When I tried to make a citation with the program only the author and date of publishment were in the citation despite having all the information such as title or DOI/ISBN.
I checked the style and everything and can't seem to find a solution.
I don't know if it is related to the type of laptop I have but I don't think that, that is it.
Anybody any ideas ?

    How exactly are you citing and which citation style? For many citation styles, author and year is what you'd expect in a citation.

    I used APA 7th Gen and with only one source the program wrote the title, for all other scources it is just author and date. And it is supposed to be Title, date, author, etc.
    Our professor told us how to use it and I did everything like the script but it doesn‘t work.

    A bit hard to say without more details of what you did exactly, but I'm guessing you used "Create Bibliography for selected items" and then selected "Citation" instead of "Bibliography" -- and APA citations are just (Author, Year); the bibliography includes the other information.

    Ah thank you… now it works. I will let my prof know that her Script is wrong.
