Search pop-up in ePub reader covers search result

Hi all,
I've noticed that when searching for a term in ePub reader in paginated mode, it's possible that the search pop-up covers search results in the top-right corner of the document like this:

This can be somewhat confusing.
  • Thanks, that's a good point. We'll see what we can do.
  • Perfect, thank you!
  • I hope there is a fix for this in the works. Possible solutions might involve any of the following tweaks to the interface:

    1) allow the user to move the search box's popup window around on the screen, so that they can decide what part of the text they want to cover up

    2) allow the search box popup window to be temporarily hidden from view without forcing them to exit the search, ie. if the user doesn't move their mouse for some period of time the popup box could become invisible while leaving the search term highlighted within the text body. (Currently the iOS app works a bit like this!)

    3) when the search popup opens, the text body could be reflowed so that the search box no longer appears superimposed over the text body, but instead appears as a toolbar on the top or bottom of the window. This takes visual inspiration from the latest versions of the Firefox browser search UI.
